Every guide on Arivaya comes from personal visits. We stay at budget accommodation, eat at local restaurants, use public transport, and talk to residents. We return to update guides when significant changes occur.

Southeast Asia remains one of the world's best-value travel regions. Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia all offer remarkable diversity within easy travel distance of each other. Budget $30-60 per day and you'll travel comfortably almost everywhere.
European Travel 2026
Europe is expensive relative to Asia, but offers extraordinary variety. The Baltic States, North Macedonia, and Albania deliver the best value currently. Italy, France, and Spain remain worth every euro but require careful budgeting.
